Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using GuestAssistant.app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

GuestAssistant provides tools for short-term rental hosts to create AI-powered guest web apps. We provide the platform; you provide the content (listing data, house rules, local knowledge). You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you add.

3. Subscription & billing

Plans are billed monthly per listing. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard — your subscription ends at the next billing date. No refunds for partial months. Pricing is in USD unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4. Acceptable use

You may use GuestAssistant only for lawful purposes related to managing short-term rental properties. You must not:

  • Upload content that is illegal, misleading, or harmful
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the service
  • Use the service to harass, deceive, or defraud guests
  • Resell or white-label the service without written permission

5. Fair use — voice minutes

Each listing subscription includes 100 voice minutes per listing per month. This allowance resets on each billing anniversary date.

A voice minute is counted each time a guest uses the microphone to ask a question, from the moment they start speaking to when they stop. Short interactions (under 10 seconds) are rounded up to 10 seconds. Text conversations are always unlimited and do not count against your voice allowance.

100 minutes is generous for a typical listing — a busy short-term rental with 20+ guest nights per month uses around 30–60 voice minutes on average.

If you exceed the allowance

If a listing exhausts its 100 voice minutes before the billing reset:

  • The AI concierge continues working in text-only mode for the remainder of the month.
  • Guests who try to use voice will see a friendly message explaining that text chat is available.
  • Voice automatically resumes on the next billing date.

There are no overage charges. We will never bill you for exceeding this limit.

Multiple listings

Each listing has its own independent voice allowance. A 3-listing account has 300 voice minutes per month in total (100 per listing), but minutes are not pooled — unused minutes from one listing cannot be transferred to another.

Monitoring your usage

You can see your current voice usage for each listing in the GuestAssistant dashboard under Analytics. Usage is updated in near real-time.

Abuse prevention

This policy exists to ensure fair access for all hosts. If we detect automated or non-genuine usage (e.g. bot traffic designed to exhaust voice limits), we reserve the right to suspend that listing's voice access without notice. Contact us if you think this has happened in error.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you provide. You grant us a licence to process and store that content to operate the service. GuestAssistant's software, design, and branding remain our property.

7. Limitation of liability

GuestAssistant is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you will not exceed the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may cancel at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days then deleted.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email with 14 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
